Two year old Gavin, was born with Leber’s Congenital Amaurosis (LCA). There is no cure, but we are helping to try to change that. This blog was started within 48 hours of receiving his diagnosis, at 4 months of age. It documents the triumphs, struggles and joys of raising a child, who happens to be blind.

Static clean
Just minding my very own business eating my snacks.
I'm not sure how it happened, but apparently, the laughter from winning a 5 foot cheetah at the Fair switched to me and my hair.
Oh my gosh, Brianna... the whole event surrounding that cheetah is hilarious. So, we were on our way out and Troy realized he had some tokens left on his card and we stopped at the first game. The red rings you toss on top of the coke bottles. He just mentioned to me how there is NO WAY it's possible to win anything at that game. I grabbed a few rings from Landon's basket and won! Eat your words dad!! So, what did I do... I picked the largest one possible!!!! He glared at me and we had to stuff it in our friends SUV and they had to drop it off! LOL I bring him in from the garage every day when he comes home so it's the first thing he sees... LOL
How cute! That thing is huge. How did you manage to even get it home? ha
